This is not a professional company! One of their drivers crashed in to my parked car as he was reversing out of my estate, and damaged the rear couple of panels quite obviously. The driver only stopped as there were witnesses and they flagged him down. Once I saw what was going on I went outside to speak to the driver, and he initially denied that he had caused the damage! I was assured by the witnesses that he had definitely caused the damage, so he reluctantly shared his managers details with me. I then spoke to Chris, who is the transport manager there and was initially very helpful, agreeing that if I got a quote to repair the damage then he saw no problem in the company paying for the repairs to be done. I received a quote for 300 plus VAT for the repairs to be done, and sent this across to Chris. He then informed me that he was having a meeting with his director to clear it. After the meeting, I was informed that the director did not want to pay for the 300 worth of repairs, and instead wanted me to go through their insurance, which would in turn cost me as my insurance premiums would be affected! Ironically this will also cost them more as their excess for an insurance claim is 1000!! I have therefore been left with no options but to pay for the repairs myself. I am stunned that a company of this size cannot settle a small issue such as this. Judging on the way this has been handled, I cannot imagine the service that their customers receive is very good at all. I would not use this company.

Came here for the first time last week to buy some tiles. Had no idea what to expect as I'd never been to an N&C store before. They have a really good selection of general tools and materials, but what struck me the most was the friendly, family-like atmosphere of the place. The employees were knowledgable, interested, super nice and helpful, not only with customers but with each other as well. They all came to one another's help, even if it wasn't in their section, and there was a lot of friendly and humorous banter going round. I left with the impression that this must be a really nice place to work for. The staff seemed genuinely happy to work there, which I can't say of any of the other well-known DIY stores where employees seem to hide from the customers until it's home time. This will become my first point of call for anything DIY from now on.

Ayub was really friendly and helpful, go there every week no problems at all and huge range of stuff. Just need some more plumbing fittings etc. as a plumber we need a range of stuff

The best tile showroom in the area. We were looking for tiles for my parents’ new bathroom and kitchen and were struggling to find nice designs, this place has a huge selection! The staff were great with both helping us to choose and work out the quantities needed. We had to take some back and change to a smaller tile and they were happy to exchange them for us. Special thanks to Georgina for being so helpful.... great service all round.
