Open minds, open hearts, support and fellowship for your spiritual journey. This place doesn't tell you what to believe, but helps you to see what gives life meaning for you.

This is a beautiful congregation of welcoming people. The focus is on what we have in common, not what makes us different. The pastor is here half time and gives moving sermons. Rev. Charlotte is warm, kind, and passionate. The other half of the time the congregation invites speakers from the community and beyond to share their experiences, knowledge, or specialty. These talks tend to be more educational in nature, but are often just as moving as Charlotte's sermons. There is also an engaging and educational children's program that runs con-current to the adult program. Again, the focus is on what makes all people worthy of love and belonging: the simple fact that we exist. The children's program also teaches various religions and cultures from around the world.

It was my first visit to GMUC. it's such a nice thing to drive up to Dahlonega on a Sunday morning without any traffic. It was easy to find navigation was perfect. Parking was effortless. This is a special special little place. It's an old and charming building with beautiful hardwood floors. everyone in the congregation was so warm. I felt like I was going home. I'm going to make regular visits up and stay connected with this community. They are welcoming, diverse, and progressive.
