Worth the trip! It takes an hour to get from the city center to the top of the mountain. The restaurant is a little pricey but the service is very good. Lots of fun things to do at the top. Taking the bus is very easy and only 40 Lek. Take the blue “porcelain” bus from behind the Opera House and ride it to the end. From there it’s only a short uphill walk from there to the Dajti lift.

Amazing views! Very inexpensive. Lots of fun things to see and do at the top. I would definitely go back and do it again in the future.
So what is the Dajti Ekspres? It is Albania's top tourist attraction. It is a cableway that takes you from just outside of the Tirana city area to the top of Dajti Mountain and is the longest cableway in the Balkans. The hours of operation are every day except Tuesday from 9 am until the last car takes off at 5 pm. The ride itself is 15 minutes. It goes level by level until you reach the top. You go over some farm land, some lakes, and some destroyed houses. This may not be your cup of tea if you are afraid of heights or claustrophobic but the the views once you get to the top are amazing. Besides the views of all of Tirana, there is also an Adventure Park with zip lining and horseback riding, miniature golf courses, and a playground. There is the Dajti Tower Belvedere Hotel which has 24 rooms and a conference center and a restaurant.
The place is awesome. On Top of the Mountain the view is..... The whole city of Tiranë is looking beautiful. You got the Best place for tourist, but why you are hiding your pos terminal. When I ask the Lady to pay by card she said No. I explain to her that i called them Day before.... She said to me, sorry here you are, you can pay by your card.
Wonderful ride with stunning views! Very affordable and very comfortable ride. We were wowed by the sights of the city of Tirana, the mountains, stone homes, small farms, and then...views all the way to the Adriatic sea! It's a shame that so many people have abused the cable cars by carving their names and scribbles into the viewing windows, as it obscured our ability to take super-clear photos, but the view from our natural sight was great. Highly recommended!
Quality air to breathe and a place with many activities to do with your family or friends. Strongly suggest
Have a good service and panoramic views!
For only a little over 5 US, it’s definitely something that should be on your list of things to do in Tirana. The blue bus will take you right to the entrance of the Dajti Express or take a taxi for around 500 - 700 LEK. The cable car ride is long and exciting. The views from within the cable car are stunning. Once you reach the top, there’s restaurants, bar, and activities for kids. You could walk around, find spectacular views, and spend a couple hours easily and still have things to do. I HIGHLT suggest the Dajti Express.
