Love going to school here.

Excellent instructors and an overall great University experience. 10/10 would recommend to anyone pursuing a computer science degree. I've had a great experience with DSU even during COVID-19.

College is expensive and it's very frustrating, but if you're going to go through with it and pay off all those debts you might as well do it somewhere that it's gonna count! Can't say enough about this place. I had great experiences with the people and professors. The classes were engaging and set you up well for employment afterwards. In my first job out of DSU I started to notice that the experience I received here had me in a better place than my co-workers. They had a lack of knowledge in a lot of basic areas within my field and I feel as if their schooling did not cover things that were essential to a professional work environment. They have a lot of events and clubs to join right on campus. The campus is small, but very inviting. They have the highest technology I've seen and they are amazing for any computer-based majors. The class sizes are small enough that your professors can get to know you on a personal level and really help you out while somehow feeling like they're your friend. (I even have some of them on Facebook that I communicate with and I graduated 7 years ago!) If you're on the fence about going here, wait no longer. You'll get a solid education. If you're questioning the size of the town and having things to do, Sioux Falls and Brookings are close to the same distance away in opposite directions so you're centrally located right between them and they both have many things to do if you can't find something to interest you in Madison.
