Acapella which is now caring people are spiteful, pushy and rude. Tammie to be exact! I called in Thursday do to personal reasons. And it seems to me they fight with you silently by not sending me a schedule reminder for Friday. So I call to speak with Tom explain my call off and see if I still have a job. He will get back with me no response. So I received a text about a shift availability to accept to make up my off days and the tone in her voice is not welcoming or caring. Seems to me they just want bodies so it’s more about the money than your employees or customers. Also I have spoken with other employees and some of the POA of a few of their clients, me doing my research, and they feel the same way. I no longer have Interest in working for a company with such uncaring people!!!

I called this company/Jo two weeks prior to needed service and I would always be told I would get a call back but never did. Very bad communication and customer service. I went with a more reliable company.

Acappella is truly a five star company. I'm a recent Los Angeles transplant and I found Acappella through a google search five months before leaving for Texas. I had reviewed several sites and then I saw Acappella. I liked their mission statement and I reviewed the videos that they had posted online. The founder of the company absolutely has a mission of service and love for others. Her passion and dedication shows consistently. I contacted the HR director in April 2018 to let them know of my interest. I drove to Texas in September 2018, and within two weeks I was hired by Acappella. The entire office staff shows such compassion and understanding to the clients and also to the nurses and caregivers out in the field. Not happy with Acapella at all, I started work, wasn't even showed how to clock in, no badge. Then on payday, my check was deposited into someone else's account, I've called several times, left several messages for Darrin, for Matt for anyone to tell me what's happening. Then I was asked if it's not my account then whose is it, HELLO, you hired me to care for others not to handle payroll. I've basically been ignored, and passed off. It doesn't matter if the check is 20 or 500 it's mine and I worked for it. Now that's just not how you value and treat employees at all.
