I'm giving a three rating. I believe my mother's evaluation was professional and thorough and based on that I would give it a 5. Clearly he is an excellent doctor and very good at what he does. However, it was very disturbing to walk into a small room to hear results, and see my 72-year-old mother without her mask sitting across from the doctor's aide who clearly was older as well, also not wearing a mask, less than 2 ft away. There was plexiglass between them with a hole so large both women were peering through the hole at each other. When I asked my mom how long they had been like that, she said most of the time. That she was supposed to put her mask on when she came around the pharmacy barrier, but that she did not always. So practically no protection at all for periods of time all day. She was there for hours. When I asked the aide why, she stood up aggressively and walked out of the room, after stating this was how they do things. When I asked the doctor, he felt confident that safety measures were what they needed to be and dismissed my concern. I have spent 9 months protecting my mother, or trying to, and feel this is extremely negligent on their part, especially having sworn in oath to protect. If she does get sick, or I do, it will definitely be from this office as we have been in a bubble isolated for quite some time. I expected more from a physician's office when it comes to protecting patients. Much more. Definitely go at your own risk and do what it takes to protect yourself. I wish I had gone with her but wanted to give her that autonomy. Maybe choose more wisely for your aging parent.

My neurologist referred me to Dr. David Cobbs for neurocognitive testing. I was somewhat dubious and skeptical about seeing a clinical neuropsychologist to endure hours of limitless testing. What could he find out that I don’t already know? I could not have been more wrong. I have never been more comfortable in a clinical environment than I was made to feel by Dr. Cobbs and his assistant. After a warm welcome and brief interview, a very open explanation of the step-by-step testing I would experience, the purpose and duration of each, we were underway. Every exercise was professionally administered, and I could not have felt more comfortable… knowing I was in good hands. When we finished, I was debriefed on the results interim to receiving a written report. I’m 100% confident that the testing was thorough, every stone unturned, and I know the report will be totally accurate. I believe that my extremely positive and confident feeling was a singular reaction… unlike the confused, if not negative, feeling we sometimes have leaving most any doctor’s office nowadays. I highly recommend Dr. Cobbs!
