To have found Dr. Rao was a prayer answered. My son was in need for immediate help at a young age and his doctor at the time was unable to provide the treatment most suitable for him. Stumbling across Dr. Rao not only instantly saved my son’s life, but has transformed him and our family. She has a gift of understanding and identifying what people need and treating conditions properly. My son is now 12 and is thankful she could help him when no one else could. There isn’t a day that goes by where we are not grateful for having Dr. Rao. Highly recommend.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my father Michael Hall. He found Dr. Rao to have a compassionate \bed side manner\. She is clearly knowledgeable and experienced. Just as important, she seeks to treat the whole person - mental, physical, and spiritual. He was relieved to find a doctor he can trust.

Dr. Rao is warm, professional, easy to communicate with and is very responsive regarding appointments and prescriptions. She has a lovely and calming office. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a psychiatrist for their teen, young adult, or anyone in their family.

I'm so thankful that I found and got to meet this doctor! She took her time to ask me lots of questions. She is very personable, caring, and patient. She'll answer all your questions and help you to find other sources to help with your individual needs. She also helped me to find a doctor who is now my primary physician because they are affordable for people like me who have no health insurance. I highly recommend her!

My wonderful psychiatrist of 7 years retired, leaving me to find a new doctor that I could trust with the well-being of my mental health. I was hoping, even expecting to have scheduled a new patient appointment with the “best” psychiatrist in Dallas when I set one with Dr. Rao. You know that one time when you read countless glowing five star reviews for that cute little restaurant nearby? Cut to you picking up lunch from the place only to later find yourself hunched over a toilet bowl, sweating and traumatized by the whole experience. That’s pretty much how my psychiatrist appointment with Dr. Rao went, but without the restaurant bit, just the latter end. I can confidently guess that any other psychiatrist in DFW would have shown more care for me than Dr. Roa did during our first and only appointment. I really am in disbelief that I attended an appointment with a “medical professional” based on Dr. Rao’s.. style, or shall I say, bedside manner. I hope that this review can spare at least one person the trauma that I still carry. In my opinion, unless you’re okay with your world turning a few shades darker, please keep searching for a psychiatrist. Best wishes.
