First time, we are on a mission to find the most solid happy hour in Dallas- which includes fooddrinks deals. The good parts: beautiful restaurant, we sat inside but have heard good things about the patio. Our waitress was sweet and mild mannered which I appreciated. The food deals and very good. You can get lots for your money! The not so good: happy hour cocktails are not that “cheap” and very subpar. Flavors weren’t as dynamic as I would expect with the advertised ingredients. The food was very fresh but quality not there. Caveat- happy hour price for the food is accurate for the quality in my opinion but I could not possibly imagine spending double what I did for what I got quality wise. Ie the flat bread cheese was hardly melted and had a cheap consistency, the maple chicken bites were dark/fatty cuts of chicken and the filling of the Buffalo chicken egg rolls was mushy. Husband loved the fried calamari. All that to be said, would I go back? Yes I would do happy hour on the patio. Am I eager and planning my next trip? No.

The wings were fire! Server was very nice and friendly! The mimosas were okay. I did not particularly like the calamari, they were too thick. But, with the sauces, they tasted okay. This is definitely a vibe, I love visiting restaurants in the south. Amazing food
Overall, my experience for brunch on a Sunday was awesome!! Despite the crowd outside, there was no wait for a table for two during brunch at 12pm! I actually didn’t realize how big this place really is. Ordered the golden wings, the Texan, and the brisket tacos. The wings were pretty good, Judy wish I would have asked for more sauce, the brisket tacos needed salsa, but the start of the show was the Texan!! The batter for the meat was so flavorful and the potatoes were delicious!! A pitcher of mimosa was 15 and well worth it! The servers were nice and accommodating! I would certainly come back for brunch!! 11/29 - I changed my review from 5 stars to 1. The staff is not masked!! IT’s A DAMN PANDEMIC and y’all want bars and restaurants to stay open but not follow the guidelines! BS!! Picture added!
Ok let me start off by saying I am VERY impressed with the staff here! I reserved a table for my girls for 8 for galentines! Our waiter was Ben G. & I would literally only want to sit in his section when he’s working. Just overall phenomenal. He was on point with everything! Literally took our order by head (yes everyone’s!) did not write ANYTHING down! Now I know this happens at almost every restaurant but here! Let me tell you my indecisiveness in knowing what I want to eat as well as my girls adding various types of food! He NEVER messed anything up! All orders came hot and cooked on point and to our liking! Not one mistake! Just incredible! The food taste outstanding and the drinks and desserts are well worth it!! Everything in the menu was divine! If you have not been you MUST check this place out & definitely ask for Ben G.!
The best thing about this place is the ambience which I really enjoyed. I went during dinner the food was good but I think I would like it better during brunch. My complaint comes from being charged a 18% gratuity when it was just me and my girlfriend. The money is not the issue because I tip 20% or more I just didn't like the fact that I felt racially profiled by my white waitress to the point where she felt the need to put a gratuity on my check like she assumed since I'm young and black that I wasn't going to tip. I read the receipt which stated you would be charged a 18% gratuity IF you're in a party of 6 or more (which I wasn't because as I stated it was just me and my girlfriend) so I didn't appreciate her adding a gratuity charge to my ticket. I really would like to know if you guys normally choose to run your business unethically or was it just done to me?
