I went here! It was an unforgettable 4 years of my life. The only thing about this place is that it kept switching principals and letting the good teachers go. Which made me sad, but educational wise they'll get you on the right track for a bright future.

Former student at Jeff ;) I like how the schools diverse but there's still a lot of drama that happens. The teachers are amazing and do well at their work, at least the teachers that i have, rally's are fun too.
Honestly, very disappointed with the news being brought forward today. It disgusts me to see a school that was doing so well, fire one of their star students. Although I did not personally have Grimm as a teacher, I occasionally passed by her classroom. I was completely memorized by the amount of compassion and care she had towards her students. She has the right to speak her thought, teach what she believes and expose the wrongs of the district. What she says is truthful, and her students deserve to know. Our students must know the real world, not the crap you are all putting out for them. They must prepare to know, how to react, and how to resolve these problems. Preparing the students for the \outside\ world means more than just making sure they understand the information the textbook provides. I hope that her colleagues continue to expose their students to the real world just as Grimm has. There is no need to bullshit or sugarcoat these problems to them. Jefferson High School is known for their diversity, it is about time for someone to discuss the truth about history. This school is about treating each student as growing adults, they must be shown fairness. Kudos for the students and staff who care deeply about this teacher, they honestly do know what is right and wrong. Shame on whoever administered this action. Hope all goes well, #justiceforgrimm.

To be honest i never thought that i would go to jeff because of it's so called eputation\ of being bad. During my freshmen year i had thought to transfer but i'm glad i didn't because it was a very different experience of high school that i never thought i would have. Although i am extremely sad that one of the BEST teachers i've ever had, Ms. Grimm, was let go last year due to certain circumstances. She taught her students what the real world was like and she taught us how to deal with problems that could arise during our lifetime. I had Ms. Grimm last year which happened to be her last year at Jeff. She taught me a lot of great things and she was an easy teacher to talk to; if you had any problems, she would be there for you. I think letting Ms. Grimm go was the BIGGEST mistake the district ever made because she wasn't just a great teacher but also a great friend to many students. Ms. Grimm provided so much for students; she gave food to those that were hungry and gave support to the students that were struggling with problems, but what did she get in return for her generosity and kindness? She got let go and the students that know Ms. Grimm very well know the reason behind it.
