I only go there for the farmers market on Fridays. Never been inside the place. Horrible location for a farmers market. Previous spot over by Firestone was much better. I hope they make a change for next year otherwise I think I will be going elsewhere.

If you have even a minor interest, you should visit here, a variable array of rail memorabilia as well as actually cars, freight cars, cabooses, and engines, many looking for loving care . If you live in the area - volunteer, you'll get hooked!! Don was a fount of information told in an engaging way.
It wasn't a bad visit only didn't get to go inside, but viewing outside I really think that inside should be interesting. The various items I saw outside was good viewing. The environment was clean, also I saw the Kentucky statue it was another interesting piece.
Friendly staff overflowing with years of experience, and sharing it freely. Grandsons enjoyed the rides, and time spent in locomotive cabs.
Great place to stop by if you’re in the area. The staff is made up entirely of volunteers and several have worked in the industry and are clearly very passionate about the museum.
