I went to Daniel Hayton Opticians when I desperately needed some maintenance help after my glasses got twisted and broke. Straight away, the staff were attentive, professional, supportive and best of all, determined to offer me a solution as they made extra efforts to collect some equipment from their Horsforth branch and bring it back to Headingley just for my benefit. It was very selfless of them, plus, they didn't want to accept anything in return which made me feel valued as they were happy enough to help me and make a difference with such a benevolent act. In addition, Daniel Hayton Opticians are making excellent efforts to keep their branches safe and secure throughout the current pandemic providing all customers the confidence to shop or ask for assistance in-store just as I did. I would definitely return and recommend everyone in the area to check them out and give them some support!

Went for my yearly eye check. This opticians is not in Barnard Castle so there's no dodgy Govt advisors spreading Covid about. The team here have social distancing down perfect with good controls and as a shielding person I was perfectly safe. Can heartily recommend the team here in these times.

It was clear to me that a lot of care and commitment goes into getting every single thing right, and delivering the service in a very welcoming and friendly way. Also, Daniel made sure that I got really good value for money, something which is especially important these days. This was my first visit to an independent optician because, after many years of being a customer of a chain retailer, I decided it was time I supported my local business and help to keep the money in the local economy.
