Food has improved with new specials. Water and vodka selection is still sad.
What an experience! From the great service, authentic ambience to very simple but very tasty dishes. I would like to point out the highlight - khachapuri! Do not miss it here!!!
Overall, it is a good place. We went there to have a nice family dinner and everyone ordered different plates and so did I, but it wasn't my day. -1 star for my food: 'TbilIsuri'-extremely SALTY! -1 star for the feedback response: for my comments about the saltiness of the food the response was as simple as \chief said it is what it is...\ Well, thanks, I think there are better ways of communicating that. Also, it should be noted in menu.
Visited for a late lunch with a friend and was not disappointed. They had Georgian wine, as well as traditional Georgian food. My friend enjoyed her salmon which was a little spicy, nice on a cold winter day. The khachpuri was on point. All in all it was moderately priced for Astana, 25 for two people plus wine and soup. Would recommend for people looking for typical Georgian cuisine.
Good food, good place, just the service was far from being great. They were never there when you need them. The food was good, not amazing for Georgian. Not everything is great but some are. Less choice than in the Almaty branch.
Highly recommend the khachapuri.
I went there last Sunday. The restaurant looks nice, and is well located. Sat on the terrace and ordered a katchapuri the one with cheese and egg. I ate half of it and started feeling awkward... that feeling lingered on until that night, when it became unmistakable that it was food poisoning. An interesting night I spent there... So, it looks okay, but beware, there might be some danger to your health...
