Food was prepared excellently. Staff was very attentive. Comfortable setting. Did not rush us out. They left us to relax after dinner to chat. Love this place!
Very good food, but somewhat annoyed that they charged 5 for a glass of ginger ale that was fifty percent ice. 15 for a glass of house wine. Very noisy, hard to hear our conversation. Also, had cold air constantly blowing over our table despite telling our waiter. Might be OK for workers to be comfortable but guests should be the priority when it comes to room temperature.
Excellent! Food & service top notch! The owner, Aldo, a true gentleman! A real class act. Our server, Mark, a doll! couldn't be more solicitous of our needs & experience there. The food was outstanding started with a Caesar salad - a classic, the parmesan was fresh as was the salad. For my main course I had the Salmon served over a butternut squash, softened almost to a puree, all in a red wine sauce- to die for!! The salmon was cooked to perfection! My compliments to the chef - possibly best I've had in a restaurant ever. The butternut squash was just sweet enough and went perfectly with the salmon, the sauce tied everything together with the escarole in the dish. Overall, wonderful experience! Have been raving about them since. Will certainly be back again!
Haven’t eaten here in years and now I remember why! So disappointed! Food was bland and flavorless. So sad that restaurants think they can charge prices like this and deliver food that I wouldn’t even feed to my dog!
Nice design/setup; good choice of "real" music, some authentic. Went for dinner on Sunday - excellent service. Had a Branzino dish- Superb! Definitely will go again! You should too!

Cesco's is easily the best restaurant in Darien. Aldo and Barbara do an outstanding job in every way. The food is excellent and the wait staff is very personable. They take their cue from the owners and really deliver on service. It is pricey but the quality of the food and service makes Cesco's a place to visit often.
