WOW!!!! We had the best experience and food since we came in Nicaragua. Darinia is lovely and cooks great food with a lot of vegetables and herbs from her garden, and you can really taste that!! Amazing experience and quality for the price you pay. Definitely recommend this place!!

We just spent the past week in the Corn Islands and one thing on our "must do" list was a meal at Darinia's. She was very responsive messaging on WhatsApp, as there are some restaurants that aren't open at the present time. We were thrilled to learn that she was open for business and she was just a few minutes away from where we were staying. The location is easy to find, roadside in the Sally Peachy area of Big Corn. Beautiful view from the outdoor dining patio of the sea and the reef. Darinia was super-engaging as she described some of the options available from her menu. Since it's in-season, she had fresh lobster so we went all out with lobster ceviche, lobster and rice with red curry, and lobster pad thai. All were excellent and delicious. Hard to imagine that such incredible food can be found in a small roadside restaurant on a small Caribbean island off the coast of Nicaragua. But trust us (and the many other reviewers here) - make sure to plan at least one meal with Darinia. You won't regret it. Thanks for an incredible meal, Darinia. First of all, she is now located right by the wharf where you get off the boat from big corn; she recently moved down here from her original location. Second of all, the food was divine, the experience was top notch. We are coming back again tomorrow before we leave the island.

When we arrived in Little Corn we saw Darwinia and we new she was the best cook of the place. We try her food and it's so unique. We highly recommend her sea food, the flavours are so special. For her dinners you have to a reservation... It's worthy. She just received an email from Lonely Planet where they selected her as the best place to eat in the hole Nicaragua.
Best food on Little Corn. Darinia is so passionate about cooking and she puts all her heart into creating the most delicious, home made food. The prices might seem a little high but she uses the freshest ingredients and cooks everything from scratch She let me join her in the kitchen to watch her at work and give her a helping hand, she's such a sweetheart. Although the restaurant looks pretty simple from the outside it's well worth a visit, so don't miss out!
It was a pleasure to eat in Darinia’restaurant Everything was fresh and delicious! She put a lot vagetables to her dishes! Lobster, fish , rundown and curry everything was execellent. She is also very nice person. We love her ! Kiss You Lena and Bodo;)
Darinia was a very nice chef and really proud owner of her restaurant. Such an amazing food experience and I can 100% guarantee this is the best of the whole island. Her goal is to create super natural food with her own grown ingredients and fruits. If she gives you a business card make sure you will go to her. WhatsApp her for making a reservation.
