A must visit place in Darjeeling. It gives each and every details about Tibetan culture in a very good way. Sculptures are very good. Staffs are very well behaved and very friendly. Please visit this place once, you will not regret.
Great place to get some basic knowledge about early Tibetan life and culture. Very well maintained museum.
Learned a lot about Tibetan culture from the lady at the museum gift store, Nisha Tamang. I also bought a few incense sticks and player flags.

Himalayan Tibet Museum is in walking distance from Darjeeling Mall. The museum is very informative; it displayed Tibetan history and culture very well. It has also an elaborate section on the life of Dalai Lama. The museum also puts some light on the culture of Nepal, Bhutan and Ladakh and north eastern region of India. Photography is allowed inside. This place is a must visit in Darjeeling.
