The staff was extremely informative and helpful. Even with our vague requests, they managed to come up with the right suggestions from among their wide variety of tea leaves. The shop wasn't crowded and if you chose the right time, you could drink great tree with a view of the mountain ranges. Pretty good darjeeling tea experience.

Sunset Lounge of Nathmull’s is located at Chowrasta at the end of the Mall. One can also call it The Tea Bar as you get to sample a variety of Darjeeling teas before deciding which one to buy. They have a bewildering array of Black, Green and White Darjeeling teas varying in price from 400 per kg to 30000 per kg. One can also sample the aroma, texture and colour of the tea at the display counter. We relaxed in the Sunset Lounge, which had glass top round tables and cane chairs, adjacent to the Tea Bar, and sampled a cup of their Green Tea which they served up in a transparent tea cup, at a nominal price. One can also order snacks like muffins or pastries to go with the tea. On a clear day one can get an excellent view of the Kanchenjunga mountain and the sunset from the window. One can also buy some memorabilia and tea accessories like decorative and useful tea pots and cups in ceramic as well as metal. In addition there are fancy strainers and Tea Cosies. We purchased some packets of Green and Black teas, and souvenirs like fridge magnets and keychains with the tea motif, as small gifts for our friends back home.

I fell in love with this place during my stay in Darjeeling. I went there almost everyday. Their tea is out of this world. I didnt try their food though. Amazing view. Just take a table, order a pot of tea and sit there for a couple of hours with a book, while they play some fantastic old music on the system. If you are alone in the place, they will even take a request (i asked them to play Beatles songs and they complied). This lounge is a must visit.

One of my favourite hangouts in Darjeeling !!!! Their tea is delicious ! Cakes are fresh and yummy ! The ambience and the view are just stunning - literally to die for!! Most importantly the owner and the staff are so warm and kind , consistently nice and that definitely makes one feel so welcomed. Oh and the choice of music is awesome too ! What more does one want - a delicious cup of tea , genuine people to talk to , super view and hear some of your favourite tunes. I highly recommend this place ! You can't miss this if you are in Darjeeling. I'm telling all my friends about this place . You should too !
