The worst experience my husband and I had last night, for a first world country this hospital is a joke I would not even recommend this hospital to anyone. I even consider contacting the news with regards to poor service. My husband last night was not feeling well and when we got to the emergency we were told by the receptionist on a intercom that if I cannot explain what the problem is they will not help. I explained that I'm having a side effect of medication that I'm on and I'm shaking really bad. After 20 minutes she let me in. Not even the doctor could talk German that well. If I had classify the doctor to a south african doctor I would classify him as a nurse. Surely ever one respect each other and have a distance and have a mask on even a rocket scientist would know that. All we were told oh the Corona we can only help if it's a Corona case. The worst of all there was even a pregnant women in pain and she could not go in all be helped and a women with a broken arm in so much pain. What has happened to the care of patients and the passion of helping sick people. What a disgrace hospital management this is shocking.

Best experience. I gave birth to my baby there..nurses,doctors and all staff are very experienced and polite.even at midnight when my labour pains started, all of the team with 1 doctor and 3 midwifes are available, they rushed to me and worked efficiently ..post delivery care is also good
Agreed with most comments here. Worst hospital. My father in law was left in the emergency wing for 12 hours. Due to Corona we were unable to hand over his bag, which is understandable. We rung the hospital numerous times to explain that his wallet and phone are in the bag and that it is important for him to receive it as he was left without any food and water for the entire day. The very rude lady just said that it's not the end of the world to be without food for a day and that he is having a drip, which was a blatant lie. She said that we don't need to worry as no one is being starved and said we should call later. He was left for 13 hours without even a glass of water or painkillers for his numerous fractures. Absolutely ridiculous.
They're improving and renovating the buildings but you get lost easily as some of the directions are missing. Horrible location to find a (quick & free) parking spot. Visiting times are very relaxed, but the communication towards patient, caretaker and colleagues (handover) is poor. You don't know what to expect nor whom to ask..
# Note: Expect long waiting (also at nighttime). - A few weeks ago, I had my first pulmonary embolism. When I reached and entered the front emergency door of the hospital I was in a really bad condition. I could barely walk, speak and breath. The first person I saw and asked for help (a security guy) despite my bad condition just gave me instructions on where to go. While discussing with the security guard a nurse came to me and measured my temperature which was due to my body’s bad contition certainly high. As a result of my lack of oxygen and my body's high temperature everyone thought that I was infected by COVID-19 and went nuts. However, I knew due to some factors that I was in high risk of developing a PE and don’t even want to think about what would have happened if I didn’t know about it previously. For my good luck there was a second security guard that didn’t speak good German but took me right away to the right section of the building where I had to give my personal information. After arguing with a woman on the front desk and waiting for the doctor to come for 30 more minutes I finally had someone to professionally take care of me. Long story short, after at least one and a half hours of walking back and forth, waiting in a bad condition, I finally had my first medical examination. Despite the chaos that occurred at the emergency section of the building, some unprofessional employees and some bad organization of the hospital, I got treated very well by the doctors especially the nurses, students etc. that worked at S. 6.V and thank them a lot for their services!
