Great outdoor setting, had to wait for a free table for about 30 minutes as no bookings being taken but once seated staff was great as was food & service

This was a tricky one. Had really high expectations due to us hearing that this was one of the best if not the best pub in Kent. We ordered the “Surf n Turf” and the lamb rump. I was diasspointed by the “Surf n Turf” which had a price tag of 24. The beef was not medium well as I had ordered it and the sauce just took over the taste. Chips were great.It seems that on the day everything had an oriental/Middle Eastern twist to it. My partner was put off by the rare-medium lamb rump as she wasn’t aware of it. I guess she could have asked before hand but we didn’t expect it to be so rare. Staff are friendly. Parking space was ok on Wednesday evening. Garden is beautiful. Prices are slightly high but I guess that’s what you get for the best pub in Kent.
Cracking family lunch out, Very good food and atmosphere
Beautiful food, Great service, so nice to see them open again. Highly rate the mussels and the calamari!
