While the nursing staff was great, the psychiatrist I saw was not. Even the nursing staff talked bad about him. Dr. Christopher Murphy based his assessment on a police interrogation and did not speak to me for more than 20-25 minutes over my almost 2 month assessment. I felt like I was judged ever since the first meeting with him which was under 5 minutes after being locked up for a month. He did not review my past medical records as he was unaware of head trauma I had received over the years that required surgery. He also did not know that I had an MRI several years before due to memory issues. In the end it was me that suggested what medication to take, and even that he did not review. He also provided no follow-up plan for my family doctor. I am still having mental health issues and finding a psychiatrist that accepts patients in this city is nearly impossible.

Very bad place they severely violate peoples rights and they always discriminate people due to gender identity and gender expression to the point of causing them severe psychological emotional mental and physical pain and causes people so much depression due to discrimination against them they always tell people to take human rights with a grain of salt and that they have no rights while in the hospital sincerely Annabella Mahar please spread the word
