I've been sending my daughter to the MAMBEC after school program for two years, and it is great! She has gone from being very physically timid to having a lot of confidence in her body and what she can do with it. I've seen her life skills in action, and the leadership in the program is wonderful. The non-martial arts programming is also great, and having swimming incorporated has saved us a couple of hours every week, which is definitely worth it. I also love the way the program teaches my child the importance of accountability, and holds her to the expectations that are set. I'm really glad a program like this exists in this area.

My son has taken part in the after school program as well as the summer and March break camps and regular martial arts classes. He loves it and I love the care and attention given to each child as an individual. I can't recommend it enough! Terrific classes with great instructors who really want to make a difference in the kids lives.

My 2 boys have been going to the MAMBEC before and after school program for the last 3 years. Both boys are very active and one has ADHD and some behavioral difficulties. MAMBEC provides structure which was lacking at their previous program and the boys are doing much better with MAMBEC. There has been good communication from Steve and Lavonne when difficulties have arisen and we have been able to deal with them. I love that they are able to do swimming and martial arts lessons during the after school program. This saves us from running around 3 nights a week and gives us more family time.

I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the Mambec program and the dedicated instructors. I have noticed such a difference in my son over the years of being in this program. during Parents night last week he was instructed to lead the class in counting briefly and I have never seen him so confident and proud to tell me when he got home. this only ramped him up since receiving his physical fitness badge and now I see him practicing everyday and telling me about how excited he is every morning. I just wanted to extend my appreciation as I am overjoyed to see my son so excited, happy and dedicated.

I can't speak highly enough of the staff and programs offered at Mambec Martial Arts. They have an amazing martial arts program and offer an integrated martial arts before/after school program. They teach their students mindfulness, safety, confidence and kindness. Our daughter has grown under their guidance and mentoring. They care deeply about their students and what their program teaches. I highly recommend them.

All three of my children have taken part in Mambec Martial Arts over the last seven years, and I can honestly say it is an excellent program. Lavonne and Steve do a wonderful job teaching their students about physical fitness and life skills, as well as empowering them to help one another through mentoring. Students are encouraged and challenged as individuals, and it is a pleasure to see them grow and succeed with every term. I highly recommend this program.
