We recently held our wedding and reception at the MMAAC. The three ooms\ allowed us to have separate spaces for the ceremony, for the buffet line, and for our main dinner and dancing space. The alcove where we had the ceremony has big bright windows overlooking the lake, which was quite beautiful. The balcony allowed our guests to get fresh air and also admire the lake. The staff was PHENOMENAL and so accommodating in helping us during planning and executing the party. The food was outstanding! There is plenty of parking and an elevator, which were two big factors in us choosing this venue. Another deciding factor was that the bar has local craft beer and cider available! Our wedding had about 60 guests, and I was a little nervous that the space would actually feel too large (as I’ve been to concerts at MMAAC, with probably 150-200 people) but the space actually felt “just right” … we didn’t feel crammed into one loud space and we didn’t feel like we were in a big cave. We got so much positive feedback from our guests and we are so very pleased that we chose this location to have our wedding. Danced all night to The Sounds of Motown Band. Fantastic, safe place for people to dance the night away. The washrooms have been renovated. The women's washroom was well kept all night. They always have a coat check by donation for the club. The bar was well stocked and the staff pleasant and engaged with the patrons.
