Clean and tidy place. Portion sizes are big! They offer gluten free options, too. I hope they’ll get some non-dairy and vegan options soon.

Excellent brunch. Food was superb, especially their potatoes. They seem to have mastered cooking breakfast potatoes. Servers were very friendly and it was an overall great experience. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots in the HRM. I highly suggest coming and trying any of their skillets with an accompanying Cesar. Will definitely be back.
I ate here for the first time. Food was delicious. Why i didn’t give a 5 star was pricing. I asked for cheese on my potatoes. Now I don’t mind paying additional pricing but I paid 2.25 for cheese and I got like 10 little shreds of cheese. Not enough to even say there was cheese. Mentioned this to the server and they said if I wasn’t happy they could take my potatoes away and bring new ones without cheese. Now I work in food and that would be a huge waste. They could have brought me more cheese or simply taken it off the bill. That didn’t happen either. I saw another plate come out and the cheese on that one would have been worth the 2.25. I wasn’t happy with that part of the service.
So Pür and Simple has become tied for my favorite breakfast place in HRM, over the past five weeks we've eaten her five times. The food is phenomenal and I REALLY recommend the chorizo breakfast poutine with spicy hollandaise. The kitchen is semi-open concept and I have to commend the staff for wearing masks while working a hot kitchen. Prices are super reasonable with a catch: add-ons are expensive. 3 for a side of twelve grain toast. On the up side the mains are VERY inexpensive given the quality of the food. 15.45 for my breakfast poutine with an extra egg, which is extremely reasonable given how good it is. They have a limited lunch menu I haven't sample yet, but looks amazing. Plus seasonal drinks! Small downsides: it gets busy, noisey, and the service can be a bit hit or miss with your server coming back (Jayme B is awesome though!). Plus you can join an online waitlist! 10/10 do recommend.
This is a favourite breakfast place for us! The food is delicious with so many options, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The wait time to get in can sometimes be a bit long, but you never have to wait long for your food :)
Met my mom and two daughters for an early breakfast. My older daughter has been to your restaurant many times but it was the first time for the rest of us. It was my mom’s first time out eating since COVID, as she’s older, and she was so excited. No wait time and we were seated right away. Great service and delicious food with generous portions. The entire team wore masks and worked together to ensure we were well taken care of - even though the restaurant was extremely busy. All seated guests were appropriately distanced. The team all had smiles and did a fantastic job. Very busy, but again, always smiling. In addition to the great servers, you could tell management is working hard to make sure things are done well. Thanks so much we will be back!
Service was excellent and very fast. We had the spicy Chicago eggs Benny, the Marky Mark and The strawberry, cream cheese crepe. The portions were a very good size and everything was delicious! I highly recommend this place!
Food was OK at best, price would be reasonable had the food been well prepared, however the food was very poorly executed. We were a large group so we got to try many different things. The crêpe was extremely dry and tough (never had a hard time cutting crêpe before), the roasted potatoes were dry, the skillet was very underwhelming as it was just a mountain of roasted potatoes with little toppings. The waffle was soggy, however the toppings were good, particularly the English cream. The salmon eggs Benny and omelette were OK. Service was OK and portion sizes were quite generous. Definitely would find better prepared food at many of the local diners around town, or even Coras at a fraction of the price. We may try again at some point as we've heard good things before and maybe it was just a one off...or just very overrated.
