STAY AWAY!!! I recently went into The Head Shoppe at the Mic Mac Mall asking for an appointment for a root touch up and foils. I also requested that the appointment be with someone who could help me style my naturally wavy/curly hair properly. The next day, my stylist showed me swatches of hair colour, at which time I told her that I wanted my hair much lighter blonde than those swatches. She mixed the colour and proceeded to put foils in and then the root touch up and all over colour. My appointment started a little after 1 pm and I was there until they closed, with other people checking my colour (which should have been a red flag). When the foils came out, she asked how I wanted my hair styled, so I told her (again) that I wanted my waves/curls styled. She asked me if I liked the colour while she was drying my hair and I told her that it was NOT what I had asked for at all. Again, another girl came over and suggested she completely dry it so the colour would be lighter. My stylist finished my "style" (and I use that term loosely), and ushered me to the main entrance. The salon was closed by this time, and I paid over 180 for it. I told the stylist and the other girl that I was NOT at all satisfied with the service or colour and would be calling the salon to speak with the manager. I called the salon the following day and for two days after, each time getting the run around. In the end, I grossly overpaid for what I got, my hair is obviously damaged, and the Manager and Boss refused to rectify this situation. Have a look at the pictures, especially the one where I'm wearing my mask in my car immediately after the appointment. What salon would EVER let a client leave this way!!

Lorne is the best. I can never get a good haircut because of my weird hair but he has nailed it both times I've been there. Will be returning!

Way over priced hair cuts. I can understand paying extra for a new Style, but you shouldn't be paying full price for trim! Just because you rub your fingers through my hair doesn't mean it's worth 60. For a trim and shampoo outrageous, and then you get a 5 to 10 tip on top of that overpriced trim. Taking advantage of loyal customers during a pandemic totally reflects on your professionalism, and I dare say, it's not a very flattering look.
First time ever at a Head Shoppe. Book a special occasion hair style appointment for a wedding I was attending. Had the pleasure of having Stephanie. I showed her a picture that I new would be tricky because unfortunately I don't have thick hair but she had some tricks up her sleeve to help me out with the style. She gave great suggestions to make my hair look longer thicker. I was VERY happy with the outcome. Stephanie was very nice great and I would definitely recommend her! Thanks for everything! ️
All of the staff are amazing at the Mic Mac Mall Head Shoppe. I would highly recommend this Head Shoppe location.
