When I'm shopping for a particular piece of furniture, I like to check out the go-to furniture stores in the Halifax/Dartmouth area. I always seem to end up at World Wide Furniture. My most recent experience was awesome. Joel, our salesperson, was excellent. He was well-informed, pleasant and provided great customer service. I would highly recommend asking for him if you're looking.

My partner and I had two beautiful Canadian made chairs delivered to our home. Shopping for the chairs in-store was enjoyable and efficient. The one thing that we found, however, was a lack of communication between the administrative end (in-store) and the delivery workers. We had to clarify our address on three separate occasions, to three separate workers. This was not the fault of the delivery workers, as they were only working with what they were and were not being told. The delivery workers were still very apologetic and helpful with our purchase. Other than the disconnect in communication, our experience was a good one, and the chairs are making us very happy.

We were very happy with the sales experience until the very end when we got lots of add on fees, service plan at 20% of the price, and then a delivery fee right in the city.. suddenly our great deal was less than exceptional. We still think it’s the right purchase, 4/5

AMAZING! Was at a big box furniture store to buy a dining room set. Was told it was out of stock and could take up to 3 months for delivery. Left there disappointed at not getting the table we wanted and headed over to Worldwide Furniture to see if we could find anything we liked. To our amazement, there was the exact dining table set - for 300 less. It was in stock and is being delivered in 2 weeks. Loving our experience, we looked around and also bought a beautiful coffee table and end tables too. Great service, great prices. Lesson learned... next time we are in the market for furniture... we go to Worldwide Furniture first!
