Ancient site of mahabharata period where the temple is situated. The water pond called pandav talab used to be filled by its own water which overflowed too vide a channel still in existence. The place is also called dhai koh i.e two and a half digs of kassi (digging equipment) dug by mighty Bheema to bring in existence the water pond during their exile period. A must visit site for a devotee, tourist. Efforts should be made to get it heritage status.
