Excellent service with constant communication. Yes the price is high, but being that my HD drive was broken, the only way to recover the data was via a data recovery specialist, they all charge around the same price. So fairs fair, its a great service.

Successfully recovered my data on a no recovery no fee basis against all the odds, for a third of the price quoted to me by another data recovery specialist. Had an initial diagnostic assessment on my 1TB WD hard drive at another specialist, who I thought from my research were the people to go to in London. This concluded the condition of my drive was very poor, with 10%-30% chance of successful recovery, 2 week turnaround time and huge cost if successful. Because of the huge cost I started looking elsewhere and found these guys, who quoted me a third of the price and successfully recovered everything in less than a week. Also great, reliable customer service, with staff who went the extra mile at every turn!

Some recovery specialists will say one thing over the phone, and then hit you hard with price once they have your disk. Data Recovery Direct, on the other hand, talked through my problem, gave me a price, stuck to it even when the amount of data turned out to be more, and turned my disk around in 2 days. Needed data and precious photos recovered. Good people these, absolutely recommend.
