Let me preface this by saying, we're first-time home owners (as of 2 weeks ago), so when our furnace started making a loud clicking noise, I assumed something was off. According to the sticker on our unit, Davis Heating & Air Conditioning is the company who had serviced our a/c in the past. I sent a non-urgent email to them on a Sunday morning. Carmen called me within a couple of hours and we set-up a time for someone to come by and look at the furnace between 4-6pm Monday evening or 7-9am Tuesday morning, depending on my work schedule. There is a (reasonable) fee for a technician to come between the hours of 4-6pm, as this is after their normal business hours. That was fine with us because we aren't able to be home during normal business hours. Todd just left. He was super. Bless him for helping us newbies on a Monday night. He explained exactly what happened and mentioned that a part of our furnace was dirty, causing the noise we were hearing. I was relieved to find out that we may just get another 15 years out of her! He did not upsell or tell us that our furnace was on its last leg (I was worried), but educated us about a few things. Brian, another technician, also called me on Monday morning because he had availability in his schedule to come by before 4pm. We appreciated the attempt and phone call, although we couldn't be home at the time. Great customer service from beginning to end. Highly recommend. We'll be calling them back asap for a pre-summer a/c tune-up.

The technician they sent out was great. He was pleasant, courteous while being in our home, and was able to explain to me what was going on with our furnace. The communication with the office to set up the visit was also simple and professional. They were also understanding when I accidentally made out the check to "Dave's Heating"

Our AC stopped working on one of the hottest days of the summer. Called Davis, and they could have someone out the next day - which was great, since others were a week out! They had an opening and called to see if I wanted the time slot. I had same day service. Very professional! I can't recommend them highly enough!!
