Jeff Roy just finished remodeling two bathrooms for us. He was recommended by friends for whom he had previously done remodeling work. Jeff did a great job for us. We found him to be honest, well organized, thorough, and exceptionally neat and tidy. Jeff listened to what we wanted done and offered good advice and suggestions as how to accomplish our goals. We had Jeff screen in a porch for us this past summer. It was not a simple project. The fact that he does his own design work was a great help as others had told us there would be problems doing what we wanted. He listened to us and also had good suggestions. He kept the site tidy and made a real effort to make sure our French doors that were already there weren't scratched or damaged. When there was a problem with the city he solved it in a way that was very fair. His workmanship is excellent and we feel that he is honest and thoughtful. We would definitely have him design and build for us again.
I employed Jeff Roy recently to make two small home improvement/repairs. Two friends had recommended him to me; both had had major remodeling work done, so I wasn't sure he would be willing to take on a small job, but he had time and he gave me an estimate. One of the things I wanted to do involved ordering a part so there was a small waiting period before he began work. The other repair job was fixing my front steps which were deteriorating severely after 45 years of use. Jeff worked on both repairs for the better part of two days and the finished result is excellent. He is the kind of person who will work quickly and efficiently and I think he feels that if the work is worth doing at all it is best to do it perfectly. I would recommend him to anyone needing home improvement work and I hope to have him come back and work for me in the future when I have other things big and small that need to be done.
