We arrived at about 5:30 on a Sunday evening and the place wasn't busy at all. When I say not busy I mean there were 4 tables seated and maybe 5-7 people at the bar outside. We asked to sit outside for the view and the hostess took us to a picnic table in the sun... I being somewhat of a wise cracker said are you too full to let us sit in the shade? She without skipping a beat said well we have a reservation coming in of 4 people but we can just put them somewhere else. Mind you there are at least 15 tables open that we can see!! On to the food, it was good not great but good and I felt the portions were a tad bit on the small side but I know you risk that when you order seafood so maybe that was just my fault. Our waitress was decent as well she had a good personality and was friendly. My mom had a coupon from a book that residents down here get and whenever you use a coupon here they add 18% gratuity automatically so beware of that. Not that our server wasn't worth the money but 20 to bring us 4 drink refills and our food plates doesn't seem like it fits real well. Sometimes I need to tip less because I don't cause problems and don't run a server to death! There was a one man band playing that sounded pretty good as well and of course you have the boats around the marina to view. Overall the experience was average and maybe a little overpriced.

We arrived on a Saturday night at 6:45pm with a party of 4. Other than bar staff, hostess & waitresses there was only 1 other couple dining inside. We asked for a table by the window and were told they were for reservations so we would led to a tacky booth next to a dirty aquarium. The table was not very clean either. We were not advised of the happy hour until we pressed the waitress. We ordered a large house salad and our entrees of 3 prime rib dinner and the "famous" Delmonico. The prime rib was tough and only 1 of us got it done the way it was ordered. The Delmonico was fatty & chewy certainly nothing resembling the steak you get at Delmonico's. We ended with 8 Irish coffee which were good. During this 2 hour meal, no one was seated in the "reservations only" tables closer to the window & water view and there was no one in sight coming in. There was another party and they were seated in the dungeon area we were seated in. It is no wonder that yet another restaurant in this location will not succeed. I am all for downtown redevelopment and I think that group should start at 125 Basin Street. Who would want to eat downtown much less live there with this caliber of restaurant.

Yuck! Marinara sauce was extremely thick (like tomato paste), calamari was stringy instead of crisp/crunchy. The worst part was the entree descriptions did not match what came out. I ordered the extra large scallops with crumbled bacon topped with a cream sauce, what came out were some tiny scallops wrapped in bacon swimming in a pool of milk like sauce. Yuck. Baked potato was over cooked and over dressed and seasonal veggies weren't seasonal they were seasoned carrots, cauliflower, and broccoli (which is their standard). My husband had the lobster alfredo which involved under cooked hard noodles and a thin milky sauce. I sort of complained to the waiter, who told the manager, who then argued with me about the menu saying what I ordered (the scallops) was exactly what was on the menu. At the end of the day I came to enjoy my anniversary with my husband and have a great meal I honestly didn't come to complain or be confrontational. So I smiled and agreed with the manager when he said that the scallops read small and wrapped in bacon (I doubled checked the menu, it did not say that), in addition I nodded when he said he purchases large scallops in the bag (yes, he said bag) and when they cook then shrink their size into the small ones. I looooove cooking. My favorite shellfish is the scallop. I never in my life purchased a large scallop (the size of a 50 cent piece) and have it shrink into a mini (the size of a dime). Honestly, the manager and cook don't know their head from their bum, and I feel so sorry for the staff because they were extremely nice and attentive. I will never in my life eat at this place again. But if you like it, enjoy; the atmosphere was nice.

December 2014 update all bartenders are new, AVOID "Cameron" female bartender front bar she prefers to drink most of the night and gave our group HORRIBLE service, I think the place changed ownership as the regular employees that used to make it fun are gone and THERE IS A NO LEADERSHIP, No dress code so if you enjoy being groped and bothered by thugs this is the place for you. No security yet they have the gall to charge 10.00 at front door.

This place is good all around. Chicken was a little dry but that's the only bad thing I can say, everything else is awesome.

Well my mom and I were very excited to eat here at first because their online menu included prime rib and they were on the intercoastal. As we walked up the one man band sounded good until we had gotten closer. well we decided to sit in side and then discovered we were the only ones eating in the whole building, mind you it's a Friday evening at 8:30 p.m. Our waiter was nice but was not knowledgeable on the menu items. since we already knew our dinner choice is it was okay. our food came quickly while we were looking at the aquariums ( very nice, a little concerned for the shark!) the prime rib was not as expected, not cooked to requested order, in fact we thought that it was not even prime rib. the waitress said it was a popular item but I think she has never even tried it herself. it had a funky flavor, was luke warm, and its size didnt differ ( we ordered an 8 ounce and a 16 ounce and both looked quite similar) On to the decor, it looked like a modernized 50's diner . The marina was beautiful but the owned part by the restaurant was rundown. they had broken Christmas lights scattered throughout the backdrop with only a foot or two lit
