I was told due to “Covid,” unless you are getting a large purchase installed such as a radio or a backup camera, smaller installations such as Hard wired Radar detectors and other installations that Best Buy sells on their website are “not a priority “ and will have to wait a month or so. What a joke. Why I thought my experience with Geek Squad and Best Buy would be different is beyond me. Bad business.

Cory working at the Best Buy location is awesome. I went in on a whim without an appointment after my computer wouldn’t charge. I asked if they were able to try charging it to figure out whether it was my charger or a computer issue. He was very kind and after realizing it was a simple charger issue on my end AND even offered to charge my computer and cleaned it while I shopped for a new charger and case. I appreciate his kindness and help a lot knowing they are usually very busy and an appointment is needed. 10/10 recommend going here. Though my encounter was simple, the generousity shown really made my day.

The service is VERY POOR. I will not recommend anyone to this store. The salespersons are very dishonest! The Geek Squad is a major DISASTER, they do not answer a direct question, instead the customer service direct you to an automated system.

Furious with these people. Three times in a row, I have had a morning appointment - arrival 7-11 - and it got changed to afternoon a day before. Once it got moved later and they sent a third-party tech. They don't ask if it's okay, they just do it. It is NOT right. It isn't fair to the customer. If I set up a morning appointment, it's because I have a commitment in the afternoon. If someone makes an appointment after I do, why do they get priority.

Bought 1 year extended warranty for 199.on phone.from website..Installed Webroot for computers and cell phones for 19 dollars.They had 2 people working on my 2 computers for over 4 hours on each.Better warranty and service than I bought from Dell.Also covers all electronics including appliances and at home visits with a 49 dollar charge plus parts.No deductable on computers
