Everytime I call or go to office in person the Customer Service Agents are very courteous, professional, and patient with me. They get things done in a comprehensive and swift manner.

This is the WORST utility company I have ever dealt with in my life (in 3 states). They don’t even deserve 1 star. I have been directly lied to by at least 3 “supervisors.” Beyond unethical and completely incompetent!! Our nightmare with them started 9 months ago (after 2 years of consistent usage) when we started getting overcharged by their faulty meter. They REFUSE to face the facts or address issues fairly, even when presented with a myriad of proof. They ignore facts, rarely return phone calls, go back on their word and just repeat themselves over and over on theories they made up that have been disproven numerous ways. I wish we had any other option or there was any outlet to get ANYONE to hold them accountable! Not a single supervisor I have spoken to is deserving of his or her job. It’s disgusting that blatantly lying seems to be a company policy. Wish the City of Daytona Beach cared. They also don’t respond when you file a complaint through them. Pitiful.

Three stars for the ridiculously high deposit when you have perfect credit. 400 for my deposit. Glad the incoming pipe was not another 1/2 inch in diameter or it would have been 750. Take that poor people wanting to come live here.

To me, since they are getting digital information regarding our water usage, why is it that we are not notified when the water bill is heading to an extremely high amount (leaks, toilet running, etc.) I've had months where my water ran thousands of gallons over normal usage due to a leaking toilet, and was never notified until I received the bill. If they have the data in order to produce a bill, they should be able to see an abnormal usage and make the customer aware before the month closes. Florida Power and Light allows us to see daily usage of our electricity. I think the city of Daytona Beach water utilities is way behind with regard to servicing it's customers.
