Always love coming to Deadwood. No place like it. I always seem to end up here in the winter. Would love to get here in the summer

Really wanted to like it! Love history and old buildings. I have no problem giving up comforts for historic charm. Unfortunately could not keep hot water in our suite, old brick was half covered up, windowsills needed repair. Though they did have little heaters in the each room of the suite, so the draft did not bother you. Beds weren't the worst- worst amazing either. I'd give it 4 stars if we would of just stayed in the 20 rooms. Location is great and value would be there, but we paid for the largest suite. Furniture in the room was nothing nice or special. The old halls were cool, but slightly concerning as you started looking closer. Love the old building but wish some of the love and grander of the first floor traveled upstairs. If you are going to stay- stay for the cheap rooms, the suite wasn't worth it. Gal and bell hop we had in the evening checking in were great, gal that checked us out in the AM couldn't give two hoots.

Legends Steakhouse is a must. Great atmosphere, great food. The prime rib is some of the best you'll ever get.

Great food, good games, usually busy on the weekends. Handful of tables one main bar. Free well drinks while playing! Hotel is old school style been there a few times decent rates off season.

Best place in town to eat Friday and Saturday night buffet was great. Sunday brunch was great also

The night buffet manager by the name of Erin is horrible how does she keep her job. Service food and just the whole experience was horrible. Food not stocked flies landing on uncovered desserts. Where was she during this disaster who knows hiding somewhere not doing her job! When the manager Curt works it's the best series and food he makes sure people are doing theirvjob.
