Was lovely but just be warned in the age of Covid there was very little social distancing taking place along the seafront walk. Lots of large groups in close proximity. Most areas have enough space alone the beach you can make your own distance but if you are at risk I would advise to stay away.

Deal waterfront has a dog ban from 9 each morning so early morning walks are full of dog walkers. There is a lot of things to do in the summer. They have free history tours, the Time ball Tower and restaurants and pubs. At night you can see the lights of Calais. The pier is full of fisher folk, walkers and there is a tearoom. For a quiet holiday its a good spot.
No trip to Deal is complete without a stroll along the pier and taking time to look at the amazing skyline.
Traditional sea front, pebble beach and views of distant France on a clear day. Deal is a great town with good variety of amenities.
I always enjoy a stroll along the seafront in Deal.
