Absolutely delicious gluten free fish and chips! Such a treat to be able to eat this. Can’t say enough good about this place, over a 2 hour drive to get there but we’ll worth it. I’ll be back there soon!

Great fish and chips spot with lots of charm. I appreciate the level of planning that went into the place. The kitchen itself is located in a boat! There is a set of darling fish shaped chairs, a beach pit area for kids to play and lots of seating. I was pleasantly surprised that they also had those electric “you’re order is ready” notification devices (like the ones you see in Olive Garden). Yes, there is a bit of a wait, but it’s worth it! The fish is delicious (not greasy) and the portions large (even the fish pieces are big, which is rare. Unless you are REALLY hungry or planning on splitting with someone else, the one piece is plenty!). Orders come with a small cup of coleslaw and a wedge of lemon. I’m curious why they don’t make their own tartar sauce. I observed them delivering fresh haddock (not frozen) to the kitchen. .
Unique place in converted boat. Nice open space with umbrellas and most importantly excellent food in huge portions. We were with two teenagers and two adults and had all the 2 piece fish and chips and could not finish it all. Also nice option to visit lightnhpuse next door
1st time eating at the Fish&Chip Boat.The fish(haddock), chips, clams, coleslaw, and potato salad was excellent. The seating area was an outdoor patio and tables had umbrellas. It was very comfortable. I will definitely return. Thumbs up Masstown Market

Very good food but it took a long time to get the food. Next place. It is always a must place to stop, the Masstown Market. Don't go by without stopping. ️️
I have gone to catch of the bay dozens and dozens of times since they openEd. This is a rating for my most recent experience in August 2020. The thing about catch of the bay is that it is very inconsistent!!! If you catch them on the right day with the right cook,you can definitely get a five star experience. On this particular day the scallops were overcooked and they were rubbery. The fish was good but it’s been better. The fish is always huge but since it’s fairly expensive,it should be big. If you get the fries piping hot then there good but as they’re not fresh cut they can be pretty terrible. The coleslaw is never that great. Clams are probably the most inconsistent!!! I’ve got them a few times over the years and they were only good once. If you want good clams you should keep driving,til you hit diane’s or granny’s. However the fish can be super good if you hit them on the right day.
