My husband and I decided that we did not want Covid-19 to stop our magical day in July. So we decided to continued with our plan and to get married. We are very happy that we did. Mr. Hubbard was a fantastic host and he made our day very special. We were running behind schedule and Mr. Hubbard pitched in and helped us get everything set up he was a life saver that day. The venue itself is breath taking, photos do it NO justice what so ever, it is one of the hidden gems that you just have to go and see. The venue itself is HUGE! There is lots of room to do just about anything that one would like. The venue is very clean and we loved that we had a full working kitchen, bathrooms, and dressing rooms. We also loved it it was out in the country and very private. Another thing that would have made for beautiful photos if Covid wasn't around and we could have done all that we wanted was the little creek that runs through the side/back of the venue. If you are looking for a venue that is breath taking and worth every penny of the money spent, look no farther, give Mr. Hubbard a call, you won't regreat it. It was one of the best days of my life and I am super blessed that a friend of mine found this gem for me. Thank you Mr. Hubbard for making our day special and helping out with all that you did, we could not have done it without you.

Hosted a family reunion in June 2019 and the venue was spacious and had everything our decorating committee needed to make the event memorable for our family. We had 110 family members to preregister and 136 showed up. We were comfortable and not on top of each other. The grounds even had enough room for our charter bus to navigate on and off the property. Beautiful facility!

Very nice facility!! Attended it recently for a family reunion, it was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was clean and spacious. I. Would like to recommend DCBH to anyone looking for a nice facility.

We had our family reunion at DCBH back in Nov 2018 and had an fabulous time!!! The facility had all of the necessary amenities that suited our needs. The kitchen is HUGE with industrial size appliances and allowed for easy mobility of our family cooks without issue. Although the venue is very spacious, the prices are broken out so that you can ent-by-the-room\ which was an added \bonus\. The owner was very resourceful and well connected in the community and would bend over backwards to ensure that you had a memorable event. The majority of our family descended from large metropolitan cities and the fact that the venue was \off the beaten\ path helped many of us unwind and enjoy the finer things in life that we miss dearly. We will be returning every year to this quiet place in Porterville, MS. You're missing out if you are overlooking this event space!!
