This school is great. I am currently attending and it is a great experience. However, many of the good reviews here are from dance students and parents of them. The school is very focused on the dancing and singing classes rather than visual art/ band and orchestra/ drama. The students who play instruments get 1 or 2 performances a year and rarely leave the building, same with drama students. Art students have a showcase but that's really it. If you are looking to learn the skills of your art form, it is a great choice. But unless you are in vocals or dance, don't expect special performance opportunities.

I have been at this school for 8 years, and they haven't changed a thing. It is still ghetto and crusty sry to say it but dont come here lol

This school is a great space to be in. There is always going to be arguing but nobody has ever actually physically been in a fight. This school is great but sometimes i wish there was more freedom. Our teachers are great but I feel like they could do more. I like paper work more than online work lol.. Some kids at this school are rude and disrespectful but not for long. Our principal gives a lot of chances to get our self together and she is always understanding. I wish i could say the same for some of the teachers here. Me personally i like all my teachers but most of all I like my Math and Social Studies teachers best. The education Is phenomenal. This school has taught me various of lessons and has taught me to put my priorities in order. I LOVE YOU DESA AND I AM GOING TO BE SO SAD WHEN I LEAVE YOU ALL THIS YEAR

I think this school is the best school I've ever been to. I been at this since first grade and it is amazing. The teachers are great and so are the students. You should join us at DESA.

This school is not that awesome because today March 26 2019 we were scheduled to go on a rock eagle trip tomorrow (27 March 2019) but there was an incident with the contract between or school.I am a 5th grade student here and I’m not really impressed by the school communication. Something else I had to point out was the bathrooms I think the janitors need to do a better job with sponsoring the bathroom. Eveytime I go to the rest rooms there is tissue on the floor and tissue in the toilets. One thing good about this place is the Arts, they need to step up there game if there wanna the top schools. Something else is if u want to just go to a arts school but if want something professional I advise u to go somewhere else because this is not the top school. Save your self don’t come here
