Time wasters.. 4 months waiting for a bike which I was told is on order.. complete run around every time I phoned or popped in to the shop, I was told try next week as it’s definitely on order . Long story short. Never got the bike as they lied and couldn’t source it . Phoned a few dealers today and ended up buying the exact bike I was after. On a plus note del basso shop was polite and friendly, just a shame they couldn’t deliver on their promises

Fantastic customer service from this specialist independent Italian scooter business. My moped originally came from Del Basso when it was brand new and Phil very kindly went out of his way to find me a plate with their unique logo in Italian colours for my Vespa which looks amazing. Thank you so much for your help!

Just had same experience as Michael Chu (his review posted 4 years ago below). Identical situation and same exact excuses were given to me just now. They want nothing to do with the free repair I am offered from Piaggio at the moment due to a recall on a faulty brake system. Makes me wonder this story of “so many of their own customers need it first” is true and they are just avoiding a job they won’t get paid for. They legally cannot say no but did succeed in talking me off the phone and avoided scheduling something. I will call back later. We don’t all live a short drive from where we purchase our vehicles. Sometimes when spending that much money, we travel out a ways to get just what we’re looking for. Unfortunately, I do live close to Del Basso who do not wish to help
