The Christmas Trees are spectacular; so healthy and beautiful! So are the Amaryllis and Poinsettia. They carry some of our FAVORITE candles. They are natural soy wax, and they smell amazing. The Spruce and Magnolia ones are especially good. I can't wait to try them all. They would make amazing, unique gifts. They are in such gorgeous pottery. The employees were great. I love this place. I'll be back!

QUICK LOOK ! I needed a very small wooden trellis for a particular use and didn't have any luck finding one at Lowes in Carlsbad yesterday so I thought these guys just might stock them. I walked inside the \shop\ part of the plant enclosure and through to the rear where they displayed pots.....and trellises. I asked a male Armstrong's worker who was stacking stuff away if he had any little trellises...no this is all we got was his reply. Oh well win some lose some !

I was reluctant to visit an Armstrong Garden Center, thinking it was just another big chain with the everyday selection, but boy was I wrong. I am a loyal fan/customer to Landmark Plant Co, and appreciate their unique plants and knowledgeable staff and never thought Armstrong could be anywhere near comparable. Let's just say it's way above comparable. The variety and amount of plants is mind blowing, which is why it's hard to even comprehend how the staff is beyond knowledgeable of what seems like every single one of them. Not only knowledgeable, but so warm and friendly! I've been 3 or 4 times now and Shelly is a dream!! I tell her exactly what I'm looking for as far as maintenance needs with light and water and she shows me the way. Shelly also helped me in choosing succulent fertilizer, soil, organic repellant (so hopefully my kitties will stop eating my plants), and plant pots WITH draining holes (). So, this huge garden center has the feel of a family run nursery. Highly recommend everyone to see for themselves and be wow’d with the quality of plants and service! Every one of your gardening needs in one place! Also, this last batch was a big one, and Shelly repotted them all for me so they were ready to display soon as I brought them home. Bonus!
