Amazing hotel. The service is top notch. The food and it's presentation at the restaurant is stunning. From the wild boar with grits appetizer to the main dishes we had including the Walleye and Elk, simply delicious. Thank you chef Remi, Bud, and Breanna.

It exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms were spacious, well decorated and clean. Dinner at OPUS was excellent. Coming from Chicago our expectations on dinner were high and they were well met by Chef Philippe and Noel (wine master extraordinaire). We plan to take another getaway to Belfry in the future.

Upon entering the Belfry House we were greeted and attended to by a very professional Concierge. She provided us with all of the hotel and room information, our dinner and breakfast reservations which were part of our purchased package. The Belfry House is a very clean, well appointed and quiet place to stay. Upon arrival to our room we were pleasantly surprised with the accommodations, to include high end fixtures, heated bathroom floors, fireplace, stocked mini-bar and high quality linens. Dinner and breakfast were phenomenal at the Belfry House restaurant, OPUS. We have nothing but high praise for the Chef, Staff, food and cocktails. If you are a wine drinker this is a paradise, the wine selection needs to be seen to be believed. Stop looking for a quiet, romantic getaway and book your stay at The Belfry House.
The Belfy house is a new property in West Lake Geneva. I was fortunate enough to stay in the Premier Suite. Fit and finish are exquisite. Finest linens, bed sheets, and bath soaps and products. The mini bar is "open" and includes liquor. The furnishings are all five star if not six star. The washroom includes heated floors. Fantastic and warm fire place and the menu was laced with a tree leaf from outside. Very nice touch Unfortunately, I am unable to give the property more than three stars. It is missing the final touch of service and a few minor over looked items in the unit. First, will start with the unit. Some minor things other guests have pointed out. For one, there is an iron in the room, but no ironing board. There is also one teeny tiny trashcan in the CR, but that's it. Its a great place for entertaining, but doesn't have a dining room. Service tried but faltered. The hotel isn't staffed unfortunately. I tried calling the hotel several times before staying. Just got voice mail and no one returned the call. House keeping? There wasn't any. Could I call for it? I don't know. No one on staff and they don't answer their phones or call back. Early checkout? Unsure. Problem with the air conditioner making loud noises? No one to call. Once they fully staff the property and give the guest the service they are actually looking for, the property will be back to five stars
Lodgings are brand new and luxurious! The Opus restaurant is indescribably fabulous! Destination package is worth the drive and the dollars!
It was just like a Hallmark movie. The staff went above and beyond exceeding all of our expectations.The room was warm and inviting. We ended our stay with an amazing breakfast at Opus. We received excellent service from Bud, who also shared the history of the property. We would highly recommend a romantic stay at The Belfry House. Steve and Pam Rockton, IL
