Brief morning stop. The parking lot is small. There is a porta potty. We went to the picnic area where we had a nice view of Fort Delaware State Park and we saw the ferry arriving at the park. After that, we took one of the trails towards the observation tower. It is a nice walk that reminded me of walking by the beach. It was a sunny but very windy day. The mosquitos did not bother us. There is not much to do here.

Amazing place. Just so surreal seeing all the historic buildings nearby. Would definitely recommend a visit to Crabby Dick's for a nice drink and bite on the backwaters.
