But soap is more than just a bar. It is the base of our approach which focuses on 3 main issues: - protecting the Environment - improving Health and Hygiene - improving Gender Equality ANACAONA Community was born 2 years ago with the vision of supporting Haiti sustainably. For the past 2 years, we developed partnerships with 25 hotels in Haiti who give us each month their used soap left in the rooms after check out. So far, we have recycled more than 2.5 tons of used soap and redistributed more than 5,000 bars to 5 primary schools we partner with.
