After having bought a fryer here I found out its timer didn't work (got stuck) but it also had a fundamental design flaw, which could only be noticed when using it. Trying to return the product hoping to get a different fryer, the employee started inspecting the device and told me I could go pick something else. After returning a number of employees were packed around inspecting it. I asked if everything was alright and they said it was no problem. The newly chosen fryer was retrieved from storage and everything seemed fine to go ahead. Then suddenly some manager type started inspecting the device AGAIN and pointed out slight discoloration of the heating element, suggesting it had been turned on. Well how else am I gonna find out if it does its job?! All of a sudden the only thing that was possible was to have it sent back to the manufacturer for repair, meaning I'd have to wait for that to happen then return to the store to pick up a \fixed\ appliance which still has the same shortcomings! It's bad enough that apparently as a customer you're only as important as a sale and your satisfaction with your purchase isn't \their problem\, only the manufacturer's. But to first make it seem like it could be taken back without problems only to turn me away at the last minute was infuriating. I'll never be purchasing anything at Krëfel again. UPDATE: I have sent an email to Krëfel as requested in their response to this review. 10 days later and not a single response. Not even an acknowledgement that it will be looked into. Giving the impression of caring about your customers with copy-paste answers is easy, actually looking into the matter is apparently too hard.
