Was in Deneysville for the afternoon and stopped past the yacht club for a couple of drinks and to have a look around. Took my nephew down to the shore to have a look at the boats and a gentleman and young lady offered to take him for a ride on their hobecat. He was ecstatic with joy. I'm very appreciative of what these people did and it's something my nephew will remember for a very long time. Not something we get to experience often. Thank you to those kind people. Unfortunately I didn't get their names.

Clubhouse well supplied and organised. Staff pleasant and helpful. Restrooms appropriate including bathrooms. Entire site is secure (within normal parameters). Private areas well demarcated and respected. Camp sites properly supplied, clean and welcoming. Swimming pool and play areas in good condition. Approach roads not the best. The close-by town of Deneysville has everything required for long or short term stay. Amazing butchery, well stocked OK supermarket. Quaint satellite stores. Restaurants and even a motorcycle museum.
