This place is a DISASTER!!! DON'T MOVE IN HERE. Me and my roommate signed for the upgraded apartment and two days before move in they switched us to an old version without notifying us, the conditions of the apartment are presented in the pictures below. The apartment was dirty and nasty, we had to clean it up ourselves, and it smelled like weed constantly. They refused to move us to a different unit and made us live in those conditions. We didn't have a working key to the front door for 3 weeks and we were on the first floor and near the train tracks, which was super unsafe. While living there we had to live with roaches, gunshots outside our windows, feeling unsafe because the gates were always left open, and people were constantly following us to our apartment. And when we expressed our concerns to the management, their response was "sorry we can't do anything about it". We even had a snake one time under our door and when i called to ask for pest control they said to call police???? To add to all of this, my roommate put in a work order for her toilet (wasn't flushing) and they didn't come for two months because it is not an emergency!!!??? And now we are both moved out, we have a charge on our accounts for over 160 for paint job, which they probably won't even do. If I could give this place 0 stars I would! Save yourself a headache and move somewhere else!!! EDIT: I talked with current manager of the apartment, Jeremy, and after our talk he dropped the cleaning charge from my account. I wish he was there at my move in. Problem was solved in 10 minutes.
I have no problems either forum and have always had a good experience! With covid, they were super accommodating and still tried to provide best living experience possibly. I do wish the gym and pool were open more often but it was also kind of messed up by the storm.
The forum has an amazing staff and awesome people who live here! The staff is always making sure to work hard in order to make sure that the students who live here are comfortable. There are many activities that they host, which allows the students to connect and feel welcomed!
Forum at Denton Station has been a great place to live at so far. My modern model apartment has clean new furniture and appliances. I never have trouble contacting maintenance and they always come right away.
Day 1 (move in)...so far NOT so good. Key did Not unlock door (2 hrs later get key). Room assignment NOT correct even after being told it was taken care of. Now being told to wait a week to get it sorted out. DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY!!! Roaches everywhere. Food on the floor in the pantry. Stove missing racks, refrigerator missing shelf. Where is the tv and why are there 4 cable boxes in the apartment?
The Forum has been really good for the most part except the A/C goes out from time to time. Other than that, my experience here has been great! Renewing my lease for another year!
The maintenance has gotten a lot better. I have had amazing rates. 399 my 1st year 425 my 2nd year 450 next year. Fully furnished. Great for someone who just tryna live and enjoy college.
