Worst customer service. Amy at the front desk refused to allow me back to my appointment. She required some referral code. Even with my insurance company on the phone telling her the visit was covered, she would not allow me back.. very rude.

First called and made an appointment and they got me in right away. Dr Flowers looked and my shoulder issue and took x-rays. Said the shoulder would be fine it was just irritated. However, the tingling in my hand was due to carpel tunnel. He wanted to do cortisone injection. I told him I would come back next week since I had plans that weekend and didn't want any issues. I came back the next week just to be told that I would have to have a shock test done. So this visit was a waste of time and money since they could have done that the first visit. I then received a phone call from the other doctor office informing me that the shock test was going to cost me 350 dollars. I didn't want to pay for it until we tried the cortisone shot like was originally planned. I called back to OrthoTexas and they said they would just do the shot as originally planned. Made the appointment for today at 10:15 and then showed up 15 minutes early as asked. After sitting there for an hour I went to the window and told them we would need to reschedule. Why do doctors think it is okay to let patients sit in the waiting room for almost an hour after their scheduled time and hen finally move you to a room where the whole waiting process begins all over again? This should have been in and out. Patients have schedules to keep as well. I just find it very disrespectful of my time to just sit there for that long without a clue as to what is going on or how much longer this is going to take. A few minutes I can understand. But almost an hour at 10:00 am seems to point more towards time mismanagement then anything else or that they just don't care about patients time and just book as many people as possible.

After several friends had referred him I choose to see Dr Ward, for my torn meniscus in my knee. He got me into surgery the next business day. Which was very nice to go ahead and get it taken care of!! On the follow up appointment he was very through with explaining what he did in surgery and how to proceed forward. Next step was PT...I can not say enough WONDERFUL things about the PT therapy I received. Miles was amazing, showing me things to work on at home to help build my strength back up. The whole staff was very friendly and helpful. I feel blessed to have had them help me on the road to recovery!! I highly recommend them!!

I was so pleased with Dr. Flowers, Taylor, and Laura. They were very professional and pleasant. I’d never had knee injection that wasn’t painful until today!!! I highly recommend Dr. Flowers and his staff..

Initially I was happy with my experience with Dr. Ward and especially Janelle in PT. But, then I got a bill over and above my 20/visit copay. My insurance allows so many visits at 20 copay. I did not surpass that limit by a long shot. But - OrthoTexas billed for some craziness that apparently my insurance would not cover. In calling, Marcus in the billing dept. rambled through numbers and when I asked about my several hundred dollars in co-payments, he said something about those payments going to the hospital!? Frustrated and disappointed. UPDATE: Within hours of posting this comment I did receive a call from a woman in billing. She was very professional, apologized and tried to better explain the situation behind the additional charges. She went so far as to mail me a complete print out of all of the charges and payments from my insurance company. I appreciate the customer service in directly addressing an issue.
