I had an appointment today at 9:00 a.m, it was supposed to be a medical assistant/nurse only visit. I live about 30 minutes away but have to leave earlier due to traffic. When I got there, I was told that I could not be attended to because Dr.Bentow had to be there. I was told that a voicemail was left on my phone so I checked and it was left less than 30 minutes before my appointment. I was already well on my way to Denton. So I was asked if I wanted to go to the Frisco location. I said sure because I had already waited a week for this appointment, who knows how much longer I would have to wait. When I got to the Frisco location, which was 40 minutes away, I had to wait an additional 20 minutes to see a nurse so that I could receive my first dose of the medication I am receiving. Dr. Bentow didn't even see me, so what was the point of me driving so much? And on top of that I had to pay 50 instead of the usual 5 copay, which I was not told of before. They had all day Monday to reach out to me regarding this issue but instead did it less than 30 minutes before my appointment. It was a complete disregard of my time and money and hope that this is not how you treat other patients, especially in times like this.
Well done! Dr. Bentow and his assistant were fast and efficient. Had my work done in 27 minutes and I was out. Very satisfied.
Scheduled an appointment which I believed was for 3:50pm and called at 3:18 to confirm. Receptionist states they expect me actually at 4:10pm. So I'm ok with it since I missed half day of work for the appointment. Got there at 4:05 just to be told the provider left because I was expected about 20 minutes prior to 3:50. I even showed receptionist my call record to confirm time and she just said \well you want me to reschedule you?\. Truly sad specially considering I called ahead same day and your staff told me 4:10.
