This program and those that administrate it lack integrity. They perpetuate the breakdown of the family. Instead of creating discipline that is corrective and develops awareness and character building, they impose punitive punishment. I believe they fail to understand the difference of the two. Discipline corrects and promotes change. Punishment is punitive is a method use for recompense. How do you pay someone back for a mistake, error or poor judgement? What is the valuation process? This mission statement of this program fails to be properly executed. Those in position to support the mission’s processes appear to be unqualified with poorly selected volunteers who display signs of having person issues of their own, who inflict their insecurities upon those they have directed to help. I ask how can a damaged individual support the health of another? Particularly when they are not willing to understand their own short comings. I’m on a mission to bring public attention to this program and it’s administration. I fear that many families have been damaged beyond repair at the hands of the unscrupulous staff and volunteers. I’m interested in hearing about others that have suffered at the hands of this programs administration. The louder the voices the more quickly change will happen.

If you are considering employment with CPS as an investigator be sure to watch your back. After an accusation was made that I “falsified documentation” in a classroom training activity in Arlington, I was fired from the Denton office without being given a chance to defend myself. Throughout the situation, I was told I was doing a great job, should not have to worry about losing my job and the program director apologized on behalf of the department for the accusation. My supervisor and program director are buddy buddy and fed me garbage saying it was the training academy who fired me and played along until the last minute to get rid of me. After a phone call to the academy manager and regional director, it turns out only the supervisors and program directors make decisions to fire people. I was not given any explanation for the decision reached and was handed a letter that said because I was a probationary employee, I couldn’t do anything about it. The program director blatantly lied to the regional director about many events during the situation but because of her tenure her word was taken over mine. By the way, she holds her position even with a previous arrest and conviction for theft. Had I recorded the conversations held with these individuals I would be suing in an effort to get them fired. I’m not sure if being a white male in this situation had anything to do with it but it is very possible in a primarily female driven organization.
I was seen as not a suspect of neglectful supervision in the investigation part of my case. Because my daughters father was seen as a suspect (for reasons they will not explain), they kept the case open. We both passed drug tests in the investigation and our case was not opened for drug related reasons, but they are still constantly making us take off work to do random drug tests and threatening that if we don’t take off and risk losing our jobs they will mark it as a failed drug test on our case. We both completed parenting classes. My daughters father even went to get a mental health evaluation done and they saw him as a healthy, mentally stable young man. For some reason, they still will now allow my daughters father to have contact with her unless it is through the supervision of my parents. We got a new case worker names Tamara Harris and she has been blatantly ignoring me. Has not contacted me once and it has been almost 2 months now. I’ve called and texted multiple times with no response, but she continues signing me up for “individual counseling” that I never agreed to nor had the chance to speak with her about. On top of all of this, the supervisor Katherine Robinson never answers her phone or returns phone calls.
They took my grandchildren away and lie every time I talk to them they are rude, I think my grandchildren should live in my house in their own bedrooms and in their own schools not to be moved around and in three different schools in one year, does anybody know what I can do to get my grandchildren
