I would stay far away from this company! Back in June a business was going bankrupt in Colorado Springs, Marketplace at Austin Bluff. James Dixon agreed to letting me take over the contract and provide two months free due to Convid. I was suppose to sign the contract in July as if the business never shut down. I reached at to James Dixon by phone and email around this time and never received a call back. I continued to call and leave messages and could not make contact. I called the emergency line to get hold of the managers to express that I was suppose to takeover this business and could not get a hold of James. She was able to get my call expedited. When I finally got a hold of James, I learned instead of letting me take over the original contract, AmpCap evicted the previous tenant. James Dixon decided to raise the rent and not provide two free months as originally agreed upon. If he would’ve contacted me in July I would have been able to take over the least. But instead he chose to ignore my calls and delay everything until court rooms were back open which was closed due to COVID to serve the eviction and terminate the original contract. This company also disclosed that I was taking over the property and business. I guess they don’t believe in confidentiality. I don’t understand how a company wants to raise rent in a area where several of there other tenants running business, were victims to armed robberies. I will be filing a formal complaint with the proper channels and be discussing this matter with lawyers. This is a unethical way to run a Real estate business!

Other businesses lots seem to get a higher priority than others in their lots. Recent snow storm and customers have no where to park and 2 feet of plowed pack snow blocking the entrance.
