Love this shop! The owner is so sweet and she seems genuinely happy to see us! I appreciate how well organized and uncrowded the store is. The clothes and toys are good quality and well priced.
The store made over a 400 profit off of the items I brought in. I walked away with a 67 check. Do not waste your time consigning with this store. Yes their policies are very transparent about how they have it set up so you lose out on the money and so they get to keep it. I would have been better off selling my items through Facebook marketplace. It would have taken just as long to sell all the items and it would have been a lot less hassle and more money in my pocket. Otherwise I would have been better off donating my things to Goodwill as the effort and time I put into cleaning all the items and putting in the batteries for everything to meet thier standards was worth more than what I got out of it. Save yourself the hassle and disappointment, dont waste your time consigning with this store it's definitely not worth it.
I enjoy shopping at Back On the Rack. The store is very well organized and has fun events of savings multiple times a year. A variety of name brands can be found at a fraction of the price all under one roof. The staff has always been friendly and their dog is even there to welcome you at times which I love. Excited to see the new space two doors down.
I came in just to browse while waiting for my wife to finish whatever it is she was doing. I was amazed at the quality of the items. The staff was incredibly helpful and very pleasant. They seemed to actually be happy to see me, even before I bought a bunch of stuff. The manager was charming. My son was thrilled with the things I bought him and I actually enjoyed shopping there (which is rare for me, as I usually hate shopping). I will definitely be back!! Thanks so much!!
My sister recommended this store, but I was disappointed. It was really hot and so the cramped "dressing room" was even hotter. There wasn't anything to hang the clothes on and that is a really easy solution. So bending over while helping my daughter change left me pouring sweat and I'm not overweight or out of shape. In spite of these things I would've given 4 or 5 stars if the selection and price were good, but they really weren't. I hate leaving bad reviews, especially with a locally owned place, but the prices were shockingly high. I can find a 6-yr-old's tank top for 6 new at Target so I'm not sure why they are in the same price range here. The dresses for girls were lightly used & decent, but there weren't many, and they were 12-15 on average, which wasn't worth the trip. And the 2 women at the register weren't especially friendly, but they weren't rude. They seemed indifferent at my presence. I did find one really great deal that almost made up for everything else. I found Converse shoes for 10 & they looked new!
I stopped going to this store a couple of years ago because it seemed disorganized and I couldn’t find decent stuff. In the past year, I have experienced a complete difference! I’ve found some absolute gems for my daughter from top brand ski coats to amazing and unique dresses and skirts. Definitely worth a re-look for anyone who has not been in for a while!
Well organized, great selection and pricing. Very cute high end items. We loved this store for our little ones!
