Visitation staff are very rude & unprofessional. Its one thing to treat the inmatas like s#!t but its another to treat their family & friends in the same manner!! My stepmom drove over an hour from colo. Springs & was at our visit for maybe 5minutes when she was asked to leave because she left her car window open a TINY CRACK!! Another woman was asked to leave because her car door was unlocked!!! My step mom asked very politly if she could just roll it up &return to the visit to which, very snobbishly, the guard (over paid baby sitter with inferior/ abuse of power& control issues) told her she was not going to tell her again, that she had to leave. They were constantly harassing my family, from visitation bickering & nit-picking, to my mail & any inquiries by phone. They denied me a letter my mother sent for my BIRTHDAY because she ACCIDENTLY forgot ONE NUMBER on the area code!!! Talk about petty & pathetic!! I gave one star because not all the guards/staff are ridiculously rude μΩ, there's one or two cool ones. But for the most part they all think the inmates to be inferior & that its their job to enforce punishment on imates when the truth is, its completely immature, unprofessional, & they are soly there as over-paid baby sitters & nothing more. You dont even need a degree to work there & that says a lot as far as staff is concerned!!!!!!

My children's father is there I've been wondering how he was allowed to send me a very threatening letter. Threatening to do bodily harm I thought they look over these letters before sending them out, now I've been trying to reach someone there to place a complaint on Jim and there's no answer
